A mother from Boynton Beach is on a mission to make sure her daughter’s murder doesn’t end up as a cold case.
Jacqualine Smith announced the reward in the murder of Courtney Smith is up to more than $25,000.
“I want closure. I would love to know who murdered my daughter. It’s devastating. I do not want this to become a cold case,” said Smith at a news conference on the four year mark of the killing.
Courtney was gunned down in 2017 in front of a store while she waited for pizza. She died days later.
The reward is for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
