No doubt we all know someone who is or has been diagnosed with cancer.
For me, the revelation came as a shock to my entire family when my older sister Dr.Selma King was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that metastasized to the brain and bone.
She never smoked a day in her life.
I wonder everyday what caused it and could her death have been prevented.
My latest project is working with the Pap Corps, Champions for cancer research.
It’s too late for my sister, but it’s not to late to find a cure for those of us still here who will, or are going through some sort of cancer fight.
Help me support the Pap Corps this New Year’s Eve.
They are raising money to support the Sylvester Cancer Institute.
The Pap Corps Champions for Cancer Research will host a New Year’s Eve “Party for a Cure” at Grato in West Palm Beach.
It’s the second big event of the fundraising season, which kicked off earlier this month with a party at the Meat Market on Palm Beach
This latest fundraising event will raise funds for cancer research and will feature an opulent selection of French and Italian Hors d’oeuvres, tapas and canapes by Chef Clay.
A Raw Bar, Champagne and Wine Bar, Premium Open Spirits Bar, dancing and live entertainment- Chris Ferrara and The Common Good.
Come and celebrate a New Year’s Eve to Remember!
